Chuck E. Cheese's jumps into retail yogurt space

June 10, 2013

Chuck E. Cheese's is extending its brand offerings with a new line of squeezable yogurt products available in four flavors at more than 2,200 U.S. Supercenter stores. Chuck E. Cheese's strawberry, blueberry, melonberry and cotton candy Yogurt Squeezes are now available on local dairy aisles in packages of 16 2.25-ounce tubes of squeezable yogurt.

Additionally, each 70-calorie Yogurt Squeezes package contains $5 value for families' next visits to Chuck E. Cheese's in the following coupon deals:

  • $20 for 100 tokens
  • One medium one-topping pizza, two drinks and 40 tokens for $19.99

According to a news release, the company launched the snack items to "address parents' challenge to easily find healthy, affordable snacks that kids will want to eat."

"When it comes to food, our priorities are freshness and high-quality ingredients. This is reflected in our pizzas made to order with 100-percent real mozzarella cheese, shredded by hand in store, a salad bar freshly prepared every day and gluten-free pizza and cupcakes," said Scott McDaniel, chief marketing officer at Chuck E. Cheese's. "As we expand Chuck E. Cheese's branded product offerings outside our stores with new Yogurt Squeezes, we're committed to upholding that same promise to parents."

Chuck E. Cheese's Yogurt Squeezes join its original or 2-percent milk String Cheese snacks already available in the same Supercenters in 12- or 24-count packages and offering the same coupon deals to consumers.

"We believe in unbelievable value and unbeatable fun for everyone. We're confident that's what we provide with our growing line of healthy snack products for active kids," McDaniel said.
