Chuck E. Cheese's has introduced Skate Universe, an app that lets gamers help the brand’s mouse mascot dodge obstacles at various skate parks. It is now available for free download on iOS and Android devices, and players can win points for in-store ticket redemption.
"Skate Universe is just one piece of a long-term strategy to bring together the best family entertainment anywhere with the technology today's parents and kids want," President Roger Cardinale said in a news release. "It's the next example of our dedication to using technology to further enhance our customer's experience and relationship with Chuck E. Cheese's."
Skate Universe features two skate parks, a jungle theme and candy theme, through which users help Chuck E. navigate and avoid obstacles. Along the way, they collect treasures and multipliers, which enhance Chuck E.'s skate gear and speed, plus points that can earn tickets.
Players can earn up to 50 tickets per skate park and up to 100 tickets by completing both skate parks. Players can win up to 1,000 tickets to redeem in-store.
Tickets earned can be printed via email coupon to the parent or account holder and are redeemable at Chuck E. Cheese's locations for tangible prizes, the release said.
