Chuck E. Cheese's promotes mobile app via Facebook photo contest

Chuck E. Cheese's recent introduction of its downloadable app is now the centerpiece of a new photo contest on the brand's Facebook page.

Available for free download, Chuck E.'s Say Cheese! App uses augmented reality to allow parents and kids to take photos with an animated version of Chuck E. on any visit to a restaurant. To complement the new app, Chuck E. Cheese's has introduced the photo contest for the chance to win prizes every day.

To play, customers download the app on their iOS or Android device. Then snap a photo next to a "Say Cheese Here!" sign at a Chuck E. Cheese's restaurant. Guests then upload the photo to the official contest platform via Facebook.

Winners will be selected at random and announced on Facebook daily. Additionally, four winners will be chosen for a larger weekly prize. The Say Cheese to Win Photo Contest on Facebook runs through June 1, 2013.
