CiCi’s taps into family life with ‘Thank Yous Count’ cards

CiCi’s has taken a savvy marketing step by tying reduced pricing to family activities rather than specific menu items. This November, CiCi's will provide guests with an opportunity to show appreciation this Thanksgiving with "Thank Yous Count" cards, according to a company statement.

Starting November 1 and continuing through the end of the month, each restaurant will give away "Thank Yous Count" trackers. The pocket-sized cards help parents note each time their child offers an unprompted "thank you." Once the card is full, parents can present the card for a free buffet for kids 10 and under with the purchase of an adult buffet. The chain also is giving a “2 can dine for $9.99” offer to thank you recipients during November.

Guests also can log on to CiCi's Pizza Facebook page and write a note of thanks to teachers, firefighters, military personnel or any Facebook friend who deserves a special thank you. Some locations will have giant thank you cards, posters or banners for guests to sign. CiCi's employees will then hand deliver the cards along with piping hot CiCi's pizza, fresh salad and its signature cinnamon rolls throughout November to community groups they would like to thank.
