Clorder Inc., a developer of cloud-based food ordering solutions, has launched a new website that helps raise funds for charities from placing restaurant orders online.
According to a news release, through a newly established site, tastyfoodnow.com, Clorder is creating a portal listing more than 200 restaurants, which includes those currently using its online ordering solution. Customers of all these restaurants can visit the community site and place orders, which are then processed via the Clorder online ordering platform.
By ordering via tastyfoodnow.com, customers can round up their food order totals and earmark the additional amount they wish to pay as a donation to a range of charities. In addition, Clorder will donate 5 percent of all the online ordering revenues earned through the website.
"This website will prove beneficial to many parties. The patrons who place their orders through this portal are doing a good service for their community; the charities have another avenue by which to raise dollars; and, Clorder can become a good corporate citizen by donating a portion of the sales," co-founder Satish Varma said in the release.
