LOS ANGELES -- Seeking to boost dinner business, California Pizza Kitchen will add fish to a new menu expected for rollout in November.
According to Restaurant Business, CPK CEO Fred Hipp told analysts yesterday that the company will remain loyal to its core product, pizza. (About 30 percent of CPK's food sales come from pizza.)
"We're not going to put steaks or pork chops or burgers on the menu," Hipp said. "Everything will be in synch with the menu that we create today."
The RB report also said CPK will introduce a call-ahead seating program in September.
