Detroit Style Pizza Co. launches Facebook sweepstakes

Detroit Style Pizza Co. has launched its new "Spread The Pizza Revolution" Facebook Sweepstakes.

Fans on the company's Facebook page can enter to win a free, large two-topping Detroit Style Pizza. A new winner will be chosen every Sunday for 50 weeks beginning July 29, and fans can earn bonus entries by sharing the contest with their Facebook friends. Entrants will also be signed up for the Detroit Style Pizza Co. VIP Club, which entitles members to a free birthday pizza as well as exclusive access to special members-only free food, discounts and promotions. The final winner will be drawn July 7, 2013.

The sweepstakes was created to help spread the word about Detroit Style Pizza Co.'s award-winning pizza.

"We all love to share our favorite foods with our friends. Facebook allows us to connect with our thousands of loyal Metro Detroit customers in their online community, and gives them the opportunity to share their love of Detroit Style Pizza Co. with their own friends," said Shawn Randazzo, who co-owns Detroit Style Pizza Co. with his mother, Linda Michaels. "We're excited about giving away free pizza to everyone who likes us on Facebook and joins our VIP Club, because it's one of the best ways for us to spread the word about our award-winning recipe."
