BRISBANE, Australia — Domino's Pizza
Enterprises Limited (DPE) announced it opened its 101st store in France. The unit is the 11th opened since the group bought more than 150 units from Domino's Pizza Inc. in Europe last July.
According to a news release, DPE has added 22 new stores in Belgium and the Netherlands since last year's acquisition.
Domino's Pizza Enterprises chief executive Don Meij said while expansion was continuing in Australia the Company was embracing opportunities in Europe.
"While reaching 100 stores in France is a great milestone, our focus in all our markets is on new store openings, new menus and new store formats which complement the continued roll out of marketing and operational initiatives, such as Internet ordering, to drive growth," he said. Meij's group operates more than 400 stores in Australia and New Zealand.
