OLIVE BRANCH, Miss. — Jason Shifflett, a seven-unit Domino's Pizza franchisee, announced the purchase of 11 corporate Domino's Pizza stores in addition to the seven stores he currently owns in Mississippi and Tennessee.

"I fell in love with the Domino's Pizza business as a kid working in the store for extra money," Shifflett said. "This new acquisition is a major stepping stone for our franchise and I'm looking forward to its continued growth." (Read also Who's Who: Jason Shifflett.)

Shifflett began working for Domino's at the age of 14 and worked his way through high school and into a management position while he went to college. The 30 year-old has won six Domino's Gold Franny Awards for operational excellence, and he is the youngest person ever inducted into Domino's Chairman's Circle Hall of fame. He was honored in 2005 with The Best Franchisee Award from American Business Awards, and his company was honored that same year as The Small Business of the Year by the Memphis Business Journal.
