ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Domino's Pizza is shopping for new headquarters, and that may end its current lease situation with the company's founder, Tom Monaghan.

According to a report in Crain's Detroit Business, Domino's spokesman Tim McIntyre said the company wants to stay within 15 miles of its current location in Domino's Farms, owned by Monaghan.

The report said several real estate sources believe Domino's is negotiating a 50-50 deal with a developer to build a new headquarters, though McIntyre wouldn't confirm those details. Additionally, an unidentified source said the pizza chain would need an estimated 20 acres and 200,000 square feet for its new HQ.
