Riversand Technologies, a provider of Master Data Management and Product Information Management solutions, announced this week that Domino's Pizza has selected its Riversand's MDMCenter to manage strategic product, material and promotional information, data quality and media asset management worldwide.
The announcement was at the Gartner Enterprise Information and Master Data Management Summit 2014 in Las Vegas.
"As a leading adopter of quick-service retail technology, Domino's recognizes the need to move to one central system using Riversand's MDMCenter to increase our data quality, governance and workflow in three data domains worldwide - product information to support 34 million pizza combinations, material component information and promotions," said Marc Richardson, Domino's director of IT ReEngineering, said in a news release.
Riversand's MDMCenter will provide all of Domino's franchisees, 10,800 stores and websites in 70 countries, with the ability to localize product and promotional information in 10 different user-interface languages to the centralized data created in MDMCenter at Domino's headquarters in Ann Arbor, Mich. Localized menus will appear in each store's POS application, the release said.
Riversand's Media Asset Management module, an "add-on" to MDMCenter, will also be used to manage Domino's web images, print images, PDF menus and nutritional documents created at Domino's headquarters.
