Domino's UK appoints new marketing leader

Jane Walker has joined Domino's UK as head of Marketing. She will oversee the national and local store marketing teams to help position the brand for long-term growth.

Walker joins Domino's from Carphone Warehouse, where she was head of Marketing Strategy and Insight. Prior to her new position, she spent a large part of her career in the food and beverages sector, including Costa Coffee and KFC, where she worked on marketing new business concepts.

"Jane's experience of brand building and her strong background working in consumer insight will help us to continue to drive the business forward and further strengthen our marketing capabilities across all platforms," said Simon Wallis, Domino's UK sales and marketing director.

'Feaster' promotion for Easter 

Also, to celebrate the Easter weekend, Domino's UK is offering customers a 'Feaster' deal available today through April 1. Customers will receive a free 500 ml tub of Ben & Jerry's ice cream when they spend £25 at Domino's.

For the stores that do not stock Ben & Jerry's, customers will be able to get a free portion of Domino's Cookies instead. The deal is only available online and at participating stores and excludes stores in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Domino's will also host an Easter Egg hunt on its Facebook, Google+ and Twitter pages. Fans who successfully solve the riddle and find the Easter Eggs hidden within the pages and profiles will be given a £15 free online voucher code. There will be 12 Easter Eggs to find.
