- WHITE PAPERS
Domino's UK has recognized various employees within the system at the company's recent event in Liverpool, England. Among them was franchisee Joggy Dhillon, who won a national PR award, which is given to a store or individual who has gone above and beyond to promote the brand.
Dhillon and his team coordinate fundraisers for local charities, hold store tours for local school children, sponsor local clubs and organizations and more.
Additionally, Peter Sidhu, an area supervisor, earned Supervisor of the Year. He works as an area supervisor and is responsible for six Domino's stores located in north east Hampshire. At the start of 2012, there were four stores in Sidhu's area. His job is to oversee the teams and the store operations, making sure that each store is fully staffed and that high standards are being maintained.
Finally, Domino's Pizza delivery driver Lajos Nagy, who works at the Hartlepool store, was awarded Driver of the Year.
In January, Nagy helped a local family, who emergency foster young children, renovate their property. It lacked in electricity, water and heating, and Nagy helped with their renovations in his spare time.
