Eat24, California-based food delivery app and website, has launched YES! POS, a cloud-based point-of-sale and restaurant management system.
This announcement comes on the heels of a new strategic partnership with Yelp, which Eat24 projects will quadruple orders to partner restaurants by the end of 2013.
"It's easy for us to send a restaurant 1,000 orders in less than a minute, but how would they manage it? We created YES! POS to solve that problem (if you consider booming business a problem)," said Nadav Sharon, Eat24 co-founder.
YES! POS allows complete restaurant management online and offline. It supports in-house table management and reservations, phone orders and driver management with GPS tracking, driving directions and electronic signature upon delivery. It also offers tools for employee management and shift scheduling. YES! POS supports full integration of all major payment processors, including PayPal.
Additionally, YES! POS is fully integrated with all online ordering services, giving restaurants the ability to receive all online orders directly to the POS and confirm with one-click, eliminating the need for printers, faxes and phone calls. Restaurants will also be able to manage and update their menus and prices instantly across all third-party online ordering aggregators, according to a news release.
"Every time we asked other POS companies to integrate with us, they said, 'No.'" Nadav said. "So we built our own, and called it 'YES!'"
