The Edge60 Conveyor Oven, manufactured by Dunbar, Pa.-based MF&B Restaurant Systems Inc., was hot during the annual Pizza Pizzazz competition at the 2011 North American Pizza and Ice Cream Show (NAPICS) earlier this week in Columbus, Ohio.
The first, second and third place finishers in the traditional category, and the first and second place competitors in the gourmet category, all baked their pizzas using the Edge60 Conveyor Oven.
Winning contestants in both categories earned a grand prize of $7,500. There were 75 competitors in the beginning of the competition, which was then whittled down to six finalists.
All Edge60 ovens come standard with a modulating burner, which works by precisely controlling both gas and combustion air. By doing so, the burner can attain maximum efficiency through its entire firing range.
