A slice of senior editor Steve Coomes' blog ... Anyone who's read my work for any length of time knows I prefer unique, distinct pizzas. Yes, you may read into that this message: Coomes prefers pizzas made by independent operators.
The only thing I have against chains is their pizzas are, by design, predictable, which often means bland. But let's face the facts: predictable, bland pizzas are sold by the millions every day in America. The formula works, people are making money, and this capitalist thinks that's dandy.
