Employee shot outside New Haven pizza store

NBC30.com: NEW HAVEN, Conn. — An employee at a pizza restaurant in New Haven remains in critical condition on Aug. 26 following an overnight shooting.

The employee, a man in his mid-20s, was shot several times after two men robbed the store, police said.

Authorities said two armed men entered a Papa John's pizzeria on Whaley Avenue at about 12:40 a.m., took an employee's wallet and tried to rob the store.
