Epson selected for online ordering solution platform

Epson America Inc. announced at The International Hotel, Motel + Restaurant Show in New York City that the mobile and online ordering platform has selected Epson's OmniLink TM-T88V-i as part of the company's guest ordering solution.

This solution enables guest food orders to be routed directly from any smartphone or web enabled device to the kitchen for immediate order processing, a news release said. Guests pay directly from the application, where credit payments can be processed through the POS system or independently through a payment portal.

"Our business is thriving, and we're looking for best-of-breed solutions that complement our application, and help our customers further streamline mobile ordering processes," said Nicolas Chaillan, CEO. "We needed a printer that was durable enough to withstand a kitchen environment, yet smart enough to take orders directly from a web-based application. Epson's new OmniLink-series was a great fit for us."
