Family-oriented marketing award given to Monical's Pizza

BRADLEY, Ill. -- Monical's Pizza has received the 2001-2002 Family Oriented Marketing award from the Central Illinois Chapter of the American Marketing Association.

The award is based on a company's commitment to marketing excellence and professionalism. Its family-centered campaigns include the slogan "The Family Pleaser ... People Pleasing People."

The 50-store pizza chain supports organizations through fund-raising events for Special Olympics of Illinois, church groups, DARE and school reading programs.

In a release, marketing coordinator Lisa Chidichimo said the company was honored to receive the award. "Monical's takes great pride in their support of local families and their communities. We feel our success begins and ends with our guests."
