North Florida NewsDaily.com: Federal health authorities have announced that investigators looking for the source of a salmonella outbreak linked to tomatoes will focus on farms and their supply chains in Mexico and Florida.

Since April, 552 people in 32 states and the District of Columbia have been identified as having contracted the strain of Salmonella Saintpaul. It is one of the biggest outbreaks of the tomato-caused illness in history, officials said.
