LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Papa John's International announced the promotions of Myles Felt and Ray Lubesky to the posts of vice president of international operations.
According to a news release, both men previously served as regional operations directors for the chain.
Felt will oversee all aspects of the company's international business for Asia/South Pacific (South Korea and China), India and the Middle East. There are currently 104 Papa John's franchised units in these regions.
Lubesky will be responsible for development in Latin America, the Caribbean, Canada, Cyprus, Russia and Portugal. There are currently 126 Papa John's franchised units open in these regions.
"As international expansion continues to be a focus of Papa John's growth, we are placing resources behind these two proven team members," said David Flanery, Papa John's chief financial officer. "We expect great things in the continued development of our brand internationally."
Papa John's currently operates 318 international units in 22 international markets. The company's current development plans call for over 100 net new international restaurant openings in 2006.
