HILLSBORO, Ore.—The power of advanced point-of-sale technology is now affordable for any pizzeria owner through FireFly Technologies' new leasing plan.
According to a news release, qualified restaurant operators can now lease a new Phoenix POS system for no money down and just $99 a month for the first six months. Leasing provides a means to manage cash flow while enjoying the benefits of new equipment.
FireFly's newest version, Phoenix 4.0, will be showcased at the International Pizza Expo, March 14-16 in Las Vegas, in booth No. 1105. An exciting new element of the system is a comprehensive Customer Account feature.
"With customer charge accounts, operators simply let key customers 'put it on the tab' when placing an order," said Duessa Holscher, director of marketing for FireFly. "Then the restaurant sends them a monthly statement. Automating the tracking of this within the POS increases convenience and accuracy."
Customized reports allow operators to control what key data is included on snapshot reports, and how items are grouped for sales reporting. The "anytime, anywhere" reporting feature of Phoenix POS lets operators access a system of stores remotely without tying up a workstation and without alerting store personnel.
To improve the delivery process, Phoenix incorporates new features such as real-time traffic alerts, multiple order mapping and routing directions, and driver alerts for key items. And for table service clients, a visual table layout helps manage the dining room.
