Flippers Pizzeria kicks off school year with fundraising program

To kick off the 2012-13 school year, Orlando, Fla.-based Flippers Pizzeria is encouraging area organizations to host "Spirit Nights" at one of its 12 restaurants. The chain is also offering "Partner in Education" pricing to schools.

Organizations that host a "Spirit Night" will earn 20 percent of Flippers' generated sales from the event.

"From local colleges, to area high schools and middle schools, fundraisers and 'Spirit Nights' happen at our locations weekly," said Kelly Pfister, director of Sales and Marketing at Flippers. "Schools contact us to host a fundraising event. Then we help to promote it through our social media channels like Twitter and Facebook."

In addition to hosting Spirit Nights with the schools, Flippers offers special pricing for various school functions and activities. Orders for a classroom, athletic team, special event, staff meeting, etc., will have special "PIE" pricing available.

School staff interested in the offer can apply through the company's website by filling out a brief form and then emailing the completed form to Flippers.
