Flippers Pizzeria launches new social media contest

Flippers Pizzeria will give away restaurant credit to fans of its Facebook page who participate in the company's new photo contest.

Three fans will be selected to receive Flippers credit in increments of $100, $50 and $25 just for submitting photos of them wearing the new Flippers Pizzeria T-shirt.

"All participants need to do is 'like' the Flippers Pizzeria Facebook page, then email a photo of themselves in their new Flippers Pizzeria tee, now available at all 11 Flippers Pizzeria locations, to the email address revealed in the contest rules," said marketing director Kelly Pfister.

Once photos are collected through email, they will be posted to a Facebook photo album, where users will be able to "like" their favorite photos. Winners will be selected based on the number of likes that their photo receives from other fans.

"This is great because participants are in control — the more friends they tell to like their photo, the better their chances are of winning. Of course, those friends must be a current fan of Flippers Pizzeria in order to like their friend's photo, so we build fans and exposure in the process," said Pfister.

The new Flippers Pizzeria T-shirts are available in stores only and come in both white and black.

"At only $11 each, the whole family can get a tee," said Pfsister. "We made them affordable for our fans who want to show off their support for our brand—we value their opinions and enthusiasm for our products."
