Florida-based Flippers Pizzeria has announced a multi-unit franchise deal with David Lo, president of Delocie LLC.
According to Ian Schneider, VP of Franchise Development at Flippers Pizzeria, the first restaurant related to this deal will open in the first quarter of 2011.
“We are really excited about this new relationship between Flippers Pizzeria and Delocie LLC,” said Schneider. “Mr. Lo and his team understand and value our company culture, our 23 years’ experience in the industry, and our passion for fresh ingredients and great food — it’s a perfect fit for Flippers Pizzeria.”
Flippers Pizzeria’s claim to fame is its brick-oven pizza, available for consumption in-store, via delivery or as takeout.
Don Howard, president of Flippers Pizzeria, is impressed with the reaction that the company’s new franchise company is receiving. “We’ve worked really hard to get our franchising project organized and readily available to investors,” Howard said. “After launching the franchise company earlier this year, we’re getting a high amount of interest from investors from around Florida and other parts of the country — It’s very exciting for us.”
Howard is pleased that Lo is the first investor to sign with Flippers Pizzeria. “David is the first franchisee in our history — that’s significant for us and for David as well,” Howard said. “We’re proud to welcome him to the Flippers Pizzeria family, and we look forward to developing a very successful partnership.”
