Flippers Pizzeria's group menu pricing aimed at tourists

Flippers Pizzeria is trying to woo groups into its Central Florida stores with the introduction of group menu pricing and catering. Specifically, the chain is hoping to attract tourists visiting Orlando's theme parks and resorts this summer.

Flippers' group menu includes per-person meals, as well as delivery and setup at guest hotels.

AAA recently recognized Orlando as the "Number One Summer Vacation Spot" for 2012. More than 55 million visitors are expected in the area this year, according to the latest data released by Visit Orlando.

Flippers Pizzeria executives say they're ready for the influx of summertime visitors. All-inclusive group student pricing starts at $8 per person, and adult pricing starts at $9 per person. Depending on which option is selected, guests can enjoy a variety of pizzas, beverages, and side items such as salads and cookies.

"We have a range of options that group organizers can select from, all depending on the needs and size of the group," said Kelly Pfister, marketing director at Flippers Pizzeria. "Our friendly staff is always happy to organize and assist large group bookings."

Flippers Pizzeria includes all paper products, gratuity and tax in the per-person group cost. It even includes delivery to the customer's resort or hotel.

"The group menu is available seven days a week. Just visit our website, click Catering, then Groups, and follow ordering directions at the bottom of the page," Pfister said. "A 24-hour notice is appreciated and, depending on the size of the group, sometimes necessary."

There are 12 Flippers Pizzerias in the Central Florida market.
