Former Groupon VP joins Front Flip

Former Groupon executive Kevin Petry has been named Front Flip's new VP of local sales, according to a company press release. Petry is now responsible for expanding the company's client base in key markets, including Boston, Dallas, D.C., Atlanta, Philadelphia, Tampa, Minneapolis and Kansas City. He will lead a team of regional sales managers and work closely with the company's VP of National Sales, who joined the company last fall from PepsiCo.

"Kevin played a key role at one of the fastest growing companies in history. He knows how to take a new product to market and has a keen understanding of our client base. Kevin's experience will fast track our partnerships with local operators and regional chains across the country," said Sean Beckner, CEO for Front Flip.

Petry brings more than 30 years of sales and marketing experience to Front Flip. Throughout his career, Petry has worked with a wide range of restaurant, retail and entertainment concepts, from local shops to some of the biggest brands in the country.

Most recently, Petry was the VP of training and sales development at Groupon. His team supported the company through its rapid expansion, leading every aspect of training, skill development and new product and service rollouts across North America.
