NEW BEDFORD, Mass. -- Police have arrested and charged a fourth suspect sought in connection with an attack on a pizza delivery driver.

Christopher Hansen, 17, was arraigned July 2 on charges of armed robbery, kidnapping and violating the civil rights of Saurabh Bhalerao. Three other men were previously charged in connection with the June 22 attack on Bhalerao after he delivered a pizza to a New Bedford apartment. According to published reports, police said the group apparently mistook the native of India for a Muslim, despite protestations that he was a Hindu.

Bhalerao, a graduate student at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth, was bound, beaten, burned and later stabbed after he attempted to flee his attackers. He was ultimately dumped on a road in Fairhaven, according to police.
