Fresh Brothers launches Fresh Knots with giveaway promo

Last weekend, Los Angeles-based Fresh Brothers gave out 10,000 free samples of "Fresh Knots" to guests who ordered an entrée, in celebration of the new product's launch.

Fresh Knots are a twist on garlic bread, created with strips of pizza dough. The strips are tied into tiny bundles and baked, dusted with parmesan cheese and served with a side of pizza sauce.

Adam Goldberg, CEO and founder of Fresh Brothers, said giving away food samples is the best way to get new customers.

The six-unit company had to add extra staff for the occasion to handle making, packaging and delivering the Fresh Knots on top of normal orders.

"But the added cost of this giveaway is worth the effort. People really love getting something for free. Getting the Fresh Knots at no extra cost along with their orders really created a 'wow' experience for our customers," Goldberg said.
