Fresh Brothers announced that it is now averaging more than 20 percent in online sales, a jump from 12.4 percent in January 2012.
Fresh Brothers uses Revention's online ordering solution, HungerRush. HungerRush also experienced record growth in 2012, processing more than $65 million in sales.
"Over 20 percent of our business at Fresh Brothers now comes from online ordering," said Adam Goldberg, one of the owners of Fresh Brothers. "On Friday nights alone, we save at least $35,000 per year with online ordering and not paying for additional labor to take customer orders. And the reality is, our customers would prefer to use their computer or iPhone."
During 2012, Fresh Brothers added iPhone, iPad and Android apps and also increased its marketing campaigns mostly through social media. These initiatives contributed to the growth in online orders.
"One of the most valuable components within the HungerRush system is that once the order is placed by the customer, it goes directly to the make line," Goldberg said. "There is no way we could handle the volume of online ordering if we received a fax or an email and then had to input the order back into our system ourselves."
