Garlic Jim's runs contest to find best teachers

Garlic Jim's is hosting a contest until May 19 for customers nationwide to nominate their favorite teacher to win a pizza party.
Winners will be chosen by the quality of the essay nominating them and must work at a school within the trade area (5-mile radius) of a Garlic Jim's store. The contest will close May 19, with winners being notified by May 20 and pizza parties awarded on National Pizza Party Day, May 21. Additionally, many locations will be offering special National Pizza Party Day deals to schools and other non-profit organizations on May 21.
"We're excited to celebrate our fifth Annual National Pizza Party Day and to honor the teachers in our Garlic Jim's communities," said Dwayne Northrop, president and CEO of Garlic Jim's.  "2006 was the kick-off year for National Pizza Party Day and it's grown in popularity every year. I expect that this year will be the same as more of our customers participate by nominating their favorite teachers."
Commencing yearly on the third Friday of May, this day marks the end of many sport seasons and the school year, and signifies the beginning days of summer.
