Giordano's is officially using proprietary products at each of its deep-dish pizza restaurants after being accused of the opposite, according to the Chicago Sun Times.
Bankruptcy Trustee Philip Martino, who had filed complaints in court against Giordano's franchisees for failing to buy ingredients from approved suppliers, said Wednesday that all Giordano's restaurants are now buying the approved products.
He also said there are still some unresolved disputes with franchisees, but he expects those differences to be settled this month.
Giordano's was founded in 1974 in Chicago but filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in February. It's still operating, however, with court approval and by using a bankruptcy loan to pay employees and vendors.
