Gratafy recently announced that it has launched in Denver, allowing consumers to purchase and send more than 600 gifts from local restaurants and bars.
"In the past buying a gift for someone at a restaurant meant being there in person; with Gratafy you can buy a bottle of wine, appetizer, or dessert for someone from anywhere using Gratafy's app and the recipient can redeem at the restaurant anytime from their phone. No plastic cards or print outs required," said Ryan Halper, COO and cofounder, in a company press release.
Customers use the app to purchase gifts, then send gifts using Facebook, email or text. Gratafy partners with local restaurants and bars, then integrates directly with point of sale systems.
The app also recently launched in San Francisco and Houston.
