Hungry Howie's Pizza has been named one of the 2013 Military Friendly Franchises as compiled by Victory Media. A complete list of winners will be published in the June 2013 issue of G.I. Jobs magazine.
The group was chosen using a data-driven survey managed by a panel of industry experts that was independently tested by accounting firm Ernst & Young.
Military service men and women interested in starting a pizza business can invest in a single location or multiunit Hungry Howie's Pizza territory. Qualified veterans receive a 50-percent military discount on the initial franchise fee. They also receive the support, marketing, training, stability and innovation.
"Veterans who are looking for a second career can use their military background, training and team-building skills to own a pizza franchise," said Jennifer M. Jackson, development director for Hungry Howie's Pizza. "It's our company's way of showing appreciation for their dedication and years of service to our country."
This is the second year in a row that Hungry Howie's Pizza has been named to the Military Friendly Franchise list, which recognizes the top 10 percent of all franchising opportunities in the country.
