Hungry Howie's taps Revention for online ordering

HOUSTON -- Hungry Howie's Pizza has partnered with point-of-sale system provider Revention Inc. to adopt Revention's HungerRush Online Ordering solution.
Revention introduced the HungerRush Online Ordering solution in early 2008.
Hungry Howie's restaurants in the metro Detroit area received more than 300 Web orders within the first four weeks of launching HungerRush, according to a news release. Participating stores also experienced an average ticket increase of 19 percent over orders placed at the store.
Of the orders that have been placed online, 60 percent have been for delivery and 40 percent have been for in-store pick-up. More than 70 percent of the HungerRush orders came from first-time Hungry Howie's customers, the company said.
