For the fourth consecutive year, Hunt Brothers Pizza has come out on top in the Convenience Store Decisions Readers' Choice Award. Hunt Brothers beat out all other convenience store pizza providers winning the "Top Performer" award in the branded pizza category.
The Convenience Store Decisions Brand Preference Study, a poll of convenience store leaders to determine the latest trends and best services in the industry, listed Hunt Brothers Pizza above other convenience store pizza providers including Hot Stuff Foods, Piccadilly Circus Pizza, Papa John's and Red Baron Pizza, among others. Responses ranked Hunt Brothers as the best pizza supplier with the most effective sales program.
The branded pizza category was added to the awards in 2009, making Hunt Brothers the first to win a "Top Performer" pizza award. In addition, in 2007 and 2008 the study showed Hunt Brothers as one of the best in the branded fast food category ahead of companies like McDonald's, Blimpie and Dunkin' Donuts.
"Hunt Brothers is pleased to receive Convenience Store Decisions Readers' Choice Award for top pizza in the industry," said Keith Solsvig, vice president of marketing for Hunt Brothers Pizza. "This award is a testament to our 40 years in the pizza business. As we look forward, Hunt Brothers will continue to provide convenient, profitable programs that provide consumers with innovative new meal options, and hopefully will accept this top pizza honor again in 2011."
