Sterling Heights, Mich.-based, Jet's Pizza announced this week that it has approved the SpeedLine Solutions point-of-sale software for use in its 200-plus company-owned restaurants and franchise locations.

"Point of sale selection is a strategic factor in our plans to grow Jet's Pizza to 300 locations," said John Jetts, co-founder and vice president of marketing.

He said that the stores already using SpeedLine have faster delivery times and order entry.

"The seamless online ordering integration between SpeedLine, the Jet's website and our restaurants is driving revenue. Since the integration, delivery has increased from 40- to 60-percent of sales, and our average delivery ticket is up from $7 to $9 for online orders," he said.

Among the key considerations in approving the SpeedLine POS for Jet's locations were tools to manage delivery efficiency, seamless web ordering integration and PCI compliance.
