OXNARD, Calif. -- JU$TCHEX, a provider of Internet-enabled NSF check re-presentment and recovery processes now offers online collections for its customers to recover all NSF returned checks and closed account checks.

According to a news release, clients using the service to reclaim funds from NSF checks get paid 100 percent of the face value of the transaction, plus the majority of the recovered state fee (typically a $25 penalty assessed to the check writer).

"With online collections we now offer a complete online solution for all returned checks," according to Richard McShirley, director of business development for JU$TCHEX. "Beyond the improved financial return, our clients get to keep their own checks for their records. The online process pays them more money per check on NSF and for checks returned against any closed-accounts."

Using JU$TCHEX, personal checks that users typically would send to a collection agency are processed on its Web site. Checks requiring the attention of traditional collections are forwarded in an electronic file for processing by a national collection agency. The service options for handling data and reporting can be configured to meet the needs of small, medium and large clients.
