Kitchen Brains, NEC to marry POS, production process

Kitchen Brains, a provider of integrated, end-to-end, wireless M2M networking solutions and SaaS applications, today announced a partnership with NEC Corporation of America, allowing restaurant operators to integrate a complete kitchen management solution.

Specifically, restaurant operators can use NEC's POS system in conjunction with Kitchen Brains Quality Production Management, thus providing full coordination and visualization of food production processes, according to the companies.

NEC, a POS solution provider for the quick-service and fast casual segments, has more than 400,000 POS systems installed worldwide.

Formally strengthening our relationship with the execution of our POS Partnership Program will enable both our firms to address new market opportunities, creating a win-win-win for NEC, Kitchen Brains and our mutual customers," said Christian Koether, vice president, Kitchen Brains.
