KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia -- KFC Holdings (M) Bhd (KFCH) has completed the acquisition of Kentucky Fried Chicken Management Pte., Ltd. and Pizza Hut Singapore Pte., Ltd. The deal enables KFCH to run Singapore's KFC and Pizza Hut stores.
According to The Star Online, KFCH bought KFC Management from Kentucky Fried Chicken Singapore Holdings Pte., Ltd. and KFCC/Tricon Holdings, Ltd., through its wholly owned subsidiary WQSR Holdings Pte., Ltd. for RM112.7 million (U.S. $29.6 million).
Pizza Hut Singapore was acquired from Kentucky Fried Chicken Singapore through another wholly owned unit, Multibrand QSR Holdings Pte., Ltd., for RM36.8 million (U.S. $9.7 million). Pizza Hut Singapore manages 30 restaurants.
