Marco's Pizza has launched a development plan in the Denver area that includes eight new stores this year.
According to a news release, the expansion is being led by area developer Chase Kintz, who said Marco's has "made inroads" with branded concessions in major sports arenas, including the Pepsi Center, home of the Denver Nuggets, and the Coors Events Center.
Currently, there are 10 brick-and-mortar Marco's throughout Colorado. The company is currently seeking franchisees interested in opening Marco's stores in Littleton, Castle Rock, Parker, Longmont, Highlands Ranch, Grand Junction, Northern Colorado, Boulder and South Denver.
"We have a bigger dine-in component and more lunch business than the traditional Marco's," Kintz said. "Coloradans want to see and taste their food, and it's about more than just the food. The dine-in component allows people to experience our product before they have it delivered to their homes."
