Mazzio's joins effort to end childhood hunger

Throughout September, Tulsa, Okla.-based Mazzio's Italian Eatery invites guests to help raise funds to end childhood hunger in America. Guests can donate $2 to Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry Campaign at all Mazzio's locations and receive $20 worth of free food offers toward their next visit.

One-hundred percent of the coupon sales are donated to the No Kid Hungry Campaign. Coupons are also for sale through the Mazzio's call center.

According to the No Kid Hungry organization, one in five children goes to bed hungry. The No Kid Hungry campaign connects kids in need with nutritious food and teaches their families how to cook healthy, affordable meals.

"We are a proud supporter of the No Kid Hungry campaign and want the community to be aware of the problem so they can help, " said Greg Lippert, president and CEO of Mazzio's LLC. "We hope that between our donation and the donations made by our guests, we can help feed nutritious meals to as many children as possible so they can grow up to be strong and healthy."
