Middle East Domino's franchisee marks 200th unit

Alamar Foods, the Domino's Pizza master franchisee with operational rights in the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan (MENAP), announced the opening of its 200th store this week in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Alamar Foods opened its first store in 1992 and was one of the earliest master franchisees to operate within the Domino's global system.

The company and its affiliates now own operating rights to Domino's Pizza in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

"This is an honor for me to attend the grand opening of Alamar's 200th store. They have been a tremendous partner with our brand for 20 years," said Richard Allison, Domino's executive vice president of international. "We have long appreciated how they have helped pioneer the growth of our brand in this region."
