Mocapay gives restaurateurs easier gateways to mobile marketing

Mocapay has announced a strategic partnership with Postec Inc., an independent provider of custom point of sale solutions, to allow merchants using that POS company to employ mobile gifting and loyalty programs for their customers. Merchants using Postec will be able to connect with their consumers in a completely new way.

The partnership is part of Mocapay's strategic alignment with vendors of POS systems, which allows merchants an easy, more concrete access point to mobile services, according to a company spokesperson. Earlier this year, Mocapay partnered with Micros POS systems, to the same end.

Merchants using Postec's POS equipment can leverage the Mocapay mobile suite to allow customers to find the nearest store location, pay using their mobile phone, view transaction history and check account balance, and reload their mobile accounts while on the go. Retailers will be able to send promotional messages and coupons nationally or regionally to customers or even to consumers at specific stores.

Postec will use Mocapay's mobile suite – mMarketing, mLoyalty and mGift – allowing its retail customers to leverage the mobile channel and support existing marketing and sales strategies.

Additionally, customers will be able to participate in mobile gifting, enabling people to send digital gifts from their mobile phones to friends and family. Tapping a wide range of retailers from stadiums to resorts, Mocapay's mobile suite will deliver a comprehensive mobile marketing solution for Postec's customers that can be scaled up or down and tailored for individual retailer needs.

"Point of sale equipment is a very serious investment for our clients, and the beauty of Mocapay's solution is that it is based on Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technology so it can be uploaded quickly and cost effectively to any existing point of sale system," said Sam Reynolds, executive vice president, Postec. "More and more retailers are harnessing the mobile channel as an additional revenue stream to expand their brand and retain fickle customers."

"Our partnership with Postec emphasizes our commitment to expanding our reach into the channel market and providing our partners with an end-to-end mobile suite for retailers of every size," said Kevin Grieve, CEO, Mocapay. "We are excited to be working with a partner such as Postec which demonstrates the sophistication and versatility of the Mocapay platform. We have had a tremendous adoption rate with our mobile suite and we believe that this strategic relationship will be a great success."
