MOD Pizza will open its first Oregon store on Nov. 21 at 5 p.m. Located in the Cedar Hills Crossing shopping center in Beaverton, Ore., the 2,850-square-foot site is situated on a corner at the entrance to the newest phase of the shopping center. This will be MOD's 12th store, and its first location outside of Washington State.
"We have been preparing the MOD concept for expansion for the past several years, and moving into the Portland market is the first step in what will be an exciting phase of rapid, new market growth for our brand," said Scott Svenson, co-founder and CEO. "Building our brand in the Portland area has always been a priority for us, and we are thrilled that our passionate, high-energy MOD Squad is now able to begin connecting and serving such a vibrant community."
The grand opening celebration will include free pizza or salad for the first 52 customers in line, a grand prize drawing of Pizza for a Year, an old fashion photo booth, product samplings and giveaways.
In addition to increasing their presence in the Pacific Northwest, MOD will be opening in its third market, California, before the end of 2013.
