Seattle-based MOD Pizza announced it will be expanding to Silicon Valley. The first store, located in the newly developed Village Oaks Shopping Center in San Jose, Calif., will open in late July with two additional locations opening in late fall.
According to a news release, each location will feature an outdoor patio and an 800-degree gas-fired oven.
“We are looking forward to bringing MOD’s unique culture and customer experience to the thriving Silicon Valley,” CEO Scott Svenson said in the release. “MOD is about so much more than just great pizza. It is about our desire to redefine and elevate the ‘fast food’ experience and to create a culture of putting people first– both customers and employees. This mission motivates our teams every day, and we look forward to sharing this magic as we make our own unique mark on the fast casual sector in Northern California.”
