Anchorage, Ala.-based Moose's Tooth Pub and Pizzeria, one of the highest-grossing single-unit independent pizzerias in the nation, recently selected Revention POS as the preferred point of sale system.
"When your business does that much volume, you can't afford to make a mistake when switching out such a critical business system. The due diligence practiced by the management team from Moose's Tooth was impressive. They left no stone unturned when it came to the point of sale functionality. We even made a software change to duplicate the exact format of the kitchen prep ticket produced by their former point of sale solution. It is exciting to see Revention in action and taking care of business at such a busy venue," said Laura Gaudin, Revention product manager.
The Moose's Tooth concept, conceived by fellow rock climbers Rod Hancock and Matt Jones, was launched in the late 1990's. Hancock had a passion for cooking, and Jones had mastered the art of making beer in a bathtub, so they both passed up the corporate world to focus on pizza and beer. They spent a year planning the business, which is named after a climbing peak that rises out of The Great Gorge of the Ruth Glacier in the Alaska Range.
