Naked Pizza plants flag in Boulder

Dec. 20, 2010

Naked Pizza continues to expand its all-natural concept throughout the country, with the latest unit appropriately slated for health-conscious Boulder, Colo. The anticipated opening date is mid-March.

According to the Boulder County Business Report, the restaurant will be located in a 1,140-square-foot space and will be the chain’s first location in Colorado. It is owned by JCJ’s Investments Boulder LLC.

Although the Naked Pizza concept has taken off in markets such as New York City, Phoenix, Miami and Louisville, Ky., Boulder may provide a bit of a challenge as the health-conscious competition heats up.

While Naked Pizza touts healthy, not organic, ingredients, the market also recently welcomed Colorado’s new Boulder Organic Pizza and Pizzeria Da Lupo.
