NakedPizza praised in UK marketing book

London-based Cream Global, an online communications resource for global media and marketing professionals, has just released the book "No Apples: 100 Other Top Innovators, Curated by Cream."
 
The book recognizes world-wide innovators from brands, agencies, consultancies and more. New Orleans-based NakedPIzza made the list under the section "Rookies and mavericks."
 
NakedPizza's Robbie Vitrano said the brand's inclusion was just confirmed last week. "It's a nice international validation of the potential of our business idea that now has 213 stores in development, and about equal that under (letters of intent)," Vitrano said.
 
To be considered, potential brands had to have launched a new, innovative product or business model, transformed a brand, developed a new marketing technology or otherwised challenged marketing norms in the previous 12 months.
