New ChefTec Reporter runs summary of sales and waste by category

A new version of restaurant reporting software ChefTec Reporter has been released by Culinary Software Services. ChefTec Reporter 2010 features increased accountability and visibility across multiple profit centers, and consolidated reporting for complex operations of any size.
Specific new features and functions in ChefTec 2010 include a number of major reporting enhancements, such as a summary of sales and waste by category report. This report allows businesses to track shrinkage across multiple revenue centers by running comparative inventory reports. Users can look at sales, waste, shrinkage, voids and comps by account categories throughout their operation.
Over 70 percent of ChefTec's product development is based on customer feedback and both ChefTec and ChefTec Reporter 2010 were extensively tested by long-time customers. Both ChefTec Reporter and ChefTec 2010 are optimized to work with Windows 7, which Microsoft released on Oct. 22.
